Welcome to GEOtechref, the best way to research. (Yes, it's better than Eng-Tips.) GEOtechref is developed by Jeffrey Wisniewski as a means to spread knowledge and experience regarding the practice of geotechnical engineering.
Why is GEOtechref better?
Instead of creating thousands of endless threads of essentially-meaningless dribble (e.g., Eng-Tips), where in the end, there is no clear suggestion or result that others can build upon or gain insight from, GEOtechref aims to develop a wiki-based database of recommendations, solutions, guidelines, tutorials, resources. Everything -- Excel spreadsheets, technical references, tips, past experiences, reviews of software titles; the works.
