Seismic Coefficient

The seismic coefficient is not equal to the peak ground acceleration. Although the two may be somewhat related, and a function or relationship may be derived (or assumed) to estimate an appropriate seismic coefficient, the two are inherently different, and should be treated as such. (Jbwisnie)
